How Is a Breast Augmentation with Fat Done?

The fat is transferred to the breasts one syringe at a time. The tip of the cannula is inserted into an incision. The surgeon injects the fat by going back and forth with smooth movements. Care is taken to distribute the fat so as to avoid clumping. The amount of fat being injected into each area of the breast is monitored. Keeping track of where the fat is distributed helps to make sure symmetry is obtained.
