The stem cell facelift is gaining more notoriety. In a stem cell facelift, the areas on the face where additional volume is desired are outlined with a surgical marker. Your surgeon will also mark the incision sites through which the fat will be injected. The incisions are small (approximately 2 to 3 millimeters in length). They are usually hidden with the lines around the eyes (crow’s feet) for upper face fat injection and in the corners of the mouth for lower face fat injection.
