- Ear Care:
- The bandage over the ears is worn for four or five days.
After the dressing is removed, a supportive headband is worn over the ears to take tension off of the ears.
The headband will be worn over the ears at night for four to eight weeks. The exact length of time will be determined by the surgeon.
- Activity:
Return to school or work in less than a week.
Full activity and exercise can be restarted within two weeks.
- Contact sports should be avoided for at least three months.
