Definition: a term used to describe the shifting in position of an anatomically shaped breast implant. An anatomically shaped implant (also known as a tear-drop shaped implant) is larger on the bottom than on the top. If, once in place in the patient, the implant rotates so that the bottom and top are reversed, or so that the bottom or top move to one side or the other, this results in the breasts appearing misshapen.
