Marionette Lines

Definition: vertical lines that run downward from the outer corners of the mouth along the outside of the chin; often appears as an extension of the nasolabial folds (the lines which run from the outer corners of the nose to the outer corners of the mouth); called "marionette" lines because of their resemblance to the lines that appear in the face of marionette puppets or ventriloquists' dummies
